Dorchester County is often called the heart of Chesapeake Bay. With over 1,500 miles of coastline, waterways, and wetlands visitors can explore all the natural beauty of the Bay and Eastern Shore life. Cambridge, MD is on US 50, and is a direct 2-hour drive from the Washington, DC, Baltimore, and Philadelphia areas, making it perfect for a quick getaway, or a few days of adventure.
Pedal or paddle in some of the most scenic areas of the shore. Home to historic fishing villages, scenic Chesapeake Bay views, and abundant waterfowl and the largest northern bald eagle population. The Mid-shore has over a dozen marked bike trails, from simple city trails to the 50+ mile Ironman Loop through the renowned Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge. Whether you want to take a leisure paddle, or fish from your kayak, there are dozens of put-ins to meet your paddling skill and approach. Additionally, the storied history of the region can be explored in the area parks and museums, including the Harriet Tubman, Richardson Maritime, and the Chesapeake Maritime Museums. After your adventure, enjoy the local seafood and drinks at one of the many local, independently owned restaurants and bars in Cambridge.

Do not have a bike? Rent one of our cruiser e-bikes and experience the joy of bike riding and nature for the day. We also rent fat-tire e-bikes for those that need an off-road bike to get to that favorite hunting or fishing spot.
