For Ruffwear founder Patrick Kruse, exploring the outdoors has been a way of life since the beginning, whether by foot, bike, flying machine, or boat. And he has always searched for ways to include his canine sidekicks in all of his adventures.

Today, the performance dog gear company Patrick launched from his garage, Ruffwear, is present around the globe. Throughout their journey, they’ve remained true to their passion for enhancing and inspiring exploration for outdoor adventurers and their human companions.

Ruffwear specializes in gear for the adventuring dog with products designed around pushing the boundaries of what the canine athlete can do. At Ruffwear all products are designed from a dogs perspective; using technical fibers to achieve an athletic fit, and custom designs to harken back to their favorite wild places.

In 1984 when founder Alice Nichol was unable to find any dog collars besides leather or plain nylon she decided to take matters into her own hand. That year she invented the ribbon collar and debuted size unique designs with the founding of Up Country. To this day almost every single design is made by in house artist Donna Bodell.

Each and every one of Up Country's products is hand-sewn, pressed, and finished right here in America.

Bundle X Joy was founded by first generation Latina Jess Berger who had 15 years of experience in the pet industry. Jess founded her company after becoming disillusioned with the lack of inclusivity, and representation in the pet space and set out to change that herself.
